Waxes, Sealants and Glazes

Waxes and Sealants are the final piece in the puzzle to detailing your rise.  They are often referred to as LSPs (Last Step Products) in the detailing industry because it is the last step to protecting and beautifying your car.  LSPs always perform best when the proper prep steps are taken to make the paint surface as clean and flawless as possible.  If you are not applying your wax or sealant immediately after polishing, claying is a good simple prep step to help the wax or sealant bond to a fresh surface.

Much can be said about the difference between a natural wax and a synthetic sealant but it can mostly be summarized by the following characteristics; sealants are typically more durable and give a more glossy, wet look.  Natural waxes are usually deeper and warmer finishes.
