The GuruFiber 530 towel features a microfiber-bound edge to
protect the sewn edges of the towel from creating scratches or
swirls. This towel will perform above and beyond what you might
expect!
How it works: Fibers have a positive charge. Dust
has a negative charge. The negative charge (dust particles) is
attracted to the positive charge (fibers). This causes the dust to
become entrapped in the fiber’s network. MicroFibers absorb more
particles of dirt than any other fabric.
How it is made: MicroFiber towels are created by
blending polyester and polyamide (nylon) fibers together. The
GuruFiber 530 is engineered by using long-thick-loop technology and
has 410,000 premium fibers per square inch. These fibers are split
during the manufacturing process to create microscopic "hooks" that
hold dust, dirt and grime.
GuruFiber 530 is 590 g/m in weight which is three times thicker than the industry leading
MicroFiber towel. The thickness of a MicroFiber is directly related
to its weight. The higher the weight, the higher the density and the
thicker the towel.
This particular towel is comprised of a 75/25 blend of polyester and
polyamide and has proven itself to be one of the thickest most
durable towels on the market. Because of this exclusive blending of
materials, you have a soft, plush towel that still manages to be
hard on the most challenging details.
One 16 x 16 inch GuruFiber 530 is capable
of absorbing 16 oz. of water.
